Citro Hacks is an all-inclusive online hackathon organized by Citro Tech, a student led organization dedicated to empowering minorities in the tech field. We want to provide a valuable experience for both beginners and advanced coders alike. We have plenty of swag, workshops, and games for attendees to enjoy at no cost. Join us to meet new friends, network with computer science professionals, and build something awesome!
Requirements
IMPORTANT: All hackers must be registered as an official Citro Hacks attendee through our Eventbrite page (bit.ly/citrohacks2023)
Projects must by submitted by Sunday July 16, 2023 at 12:00 PM PST.
- Your team must create a demo video, and it should be 3 minutes max.
- Must link to github repository/source code.
- All projects must be started within the timeframe of the hackathon (July 14, 12pm PST to July 16, 12pm PST)
- Cross submissions to other hackathons are not allowed.
- All code must be written by you, but public APIs are allowed.
- The decisions that judges make are final.

The best project created by a team of all college/university students. This team will be awarded swag packs of limited-edition Citro Hacks merch.
Best high school hack
The best project created by a team of all high school students. This team will be awarded swag packs of limited-edition Citro Hacks merch.
Best social good hack
The best hack aimed at providing a solution to a real-world problem. This team will be awarded swag packs of limited-edition Citro Hacks merch.
Best sustainability hack
The best project aimed at safeguarding the environment. This team will be awarded swag packs of limited-edition Citro Hacks merch.
Best design
The best hack featuring an exceptional and impressive visual design and user experience. This team will be awarded swag packs of limited-edition Citro Hacks merch.
Best beginner hack
The best project created by a team of all first-time hackers. This team will be awarded swag packs of limited-edition Citro Hacks merch.
